Both Crosman and Daisy made air rifles for Sears under the JC Higgins name. My catalog list the model 126.2831 as a Crosman model 180. I believe your model 126.2830 is also a Crosman model 180. The 180 has almost no forearm, a long barrel. It's a single shot .22 Caliber bolt action and is driven by a C02 cylinder. It was made between 1956-59 and again from 1960-66 with some slight changes.
If you want an estimate of value please give a current description of the condition it's in. Is it in Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good, or Excellent condition.
