1978 corvette new brake system you have good pedal after bleeding system but pedal fades almost to floor when the car is running you tried bleeding the brakes while the engine was running and gravity?

I would suspect the Master Cylinder if defective.
I had the same problem with my 1978. I replaced the combination valve and it solved the problem after bleeding.
