1986 Buick Riviera power steering will not turn right when cold what needs replaced? |
[Edit] |
Ice Ice Baby
Holey buckets! No right turns when its cold huh? Im thinking water in your power steering lines has turned to ice and will not move until thawed. Try changing the power steering fluid completely before any other remedies.
Not ice problem. It happens at temps well above freezing. To get it to turn, I turn wheel and hold pressure for 15 ~ 30 seconds and then it is OK until car sits for 1/2 hour or more.
