I had a similar situation with my 2001 Town and Country. The dealer checked the transmission and it had very high CVIs, so I had it overhauled. They found metal shavings and parts of a spring clip. On the way home, the jerking was back. I went right back to the shop where they ran more tests and re-programmed the computer with no luck. More head scratching followed, and they found a bad spark plug wire. I replaced the spark plugs and wires (found two more bad ones) and so far, no jerking. Hope this helps.

you probly need to change your belt. Addition: I have the same problem in my 2002 Xterra. It is the compressor clutch engaging/disengaging during normal opperation of the A/C system. Tightening belts will do nothing for the intermittent squealing belts on a 2002. On most vehicles, you could just change the clutch assembly .... However, not on the 2002 Xterrra. I will need to replace my whole compressor, which sucks b/c my A/C blows perfect cold air. My 2 cents.
A bad tire can cause your 2002 Honda Civic to jerk while driving. A bad ball joint can also cause this issue.
Sure
Not a question. Operator error.
If the interior lights stay on while driving on a 2002 Impala, there could be a problem with the headlight switch. Check the relay center for the headlights that is just behind the headlight switch.
Needs crankshaft sensor and or camshaft sensor
On the open road or freeway with mild inclines.
