P0300 Diagnostic Code - Random Misfire
Symptoms.
Engine may stumble or miss
Engine may be hard to start
you may notice no issues
Cause
Failing spark plugs or spark plug wires
Bad coil or coil pack
Failing oxygen sensor(s)
Bad fuel injector or more than one
Stuck exhaust valve
Bad catalytic converter
EGR valve or valve passage clogging
Bad camshaft position sensor
Bad PCM or ECM
The Fix
Best first action is a tune up, new plugs, wires, inspect all hoses and wire connections then reset the code. If it returns you will need to narrow it down to a system, coils and coil packs should be tested, catalytic converters for function ( do you smell rotten eggs?). A misfire that jumps cylinders could indicate a lean condition, do you have any other codes along with the 300? this will help clue you in to the source, check valve function to make sure they are opening and closing fully.
This is probably pone of the most difficult codes to troubleshoot, so start with the basics and work your way into the more expensive options, in many cases a good old tune up solves the problem, back it up with a fuel system cleaning and see where you stand.
change out your wheel cylinders..
The master cylinder on a 1999 suburban is pretty easy to change. Under the dash, disconnect the clutch pedal from the cylinder rod. disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder and allow to drain into a container. Unbolt the cylinder and remove. Install the new cylinder and connect the lines and rod back up. Add new fluid, and bleed the slave cylinder to finish the installation.
It means that the engine is "missing." With the engine running, pull the injecter wires on each cylinder. If the engine changes pitch or runs worse, go to another cylinder. If there's no change, then you've found the bad cylinder. Check the plug for fowling, the injector for operation, and finally try a compression test on the affected cylinder.

remove all the brake shoes and hardware, take the brake line out of the back of the wheel cylinder and there should be 2 bolts holding the cylinder on that you need to take out and then you can take the cylinder off.

how do you change an alternator on a 2003 chevrolet suburban?
No. The spark plugs are responsible for igniting the fuel in the cylinders. If you start yanking them out, the engine is going to stop running. This is covered in the book Things That Dummies Do.
Eco means Economy the new engines when running at an optimal rpm with no change in acceleration switches from running on 6 cylinders to running on 3 or 4 to give you the best gas mileage
Approximatley 4 litres. Chris not exactly true on that answer .It depends on the engine size if its a 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder..6 cylinders take 4.5 quarts - 5 quarts.. 4 cylinders take almost 4 quarts .and if you change the filter u add aprox 1 xtra quart .
