One common problem is the resistor, they like to get to hot and melt. The resistor is located under the passenger side glove compartment, by the fan motor. There should be two screws holding the resistor in place. Unscrew the resistor then unplug it from the wire harness. If it looks burnt or is melted, then chances are this is the problem. Plug in the new resistor and screw it back in place.
It is a cheap fix and is easily accomplished.
The gauge has failed.
Check fuses
You can try techauthority.com for the owners manual and fuse box diagram.
First check for a blown fuse. Check to see if there is power at the motor. If there is power at the motor then the motor itself is bad.
the radiator fan stopped working on my 98 dodge dakota. it sounds like it tries to kick on but wont turn. what could be wrong if it is a relay, where is it?
Start with checking the fuses.
The bulbs should be checked on a 1993 Dodge Dakota if the taillights are not working. The plugs on the trailer package should also be checked to make sure that they are working.
These are 2 totally different problems with no relation to each other. The headlights not working can be a blown fuse, blown headlight bulb, or loose or corroded wiring. The ABS light comes on because there is a problem with the ABS. Check the fluid level, and if it is fine, this problem should be repaired by a professional.
i just had this problem on my 93 Dakota it was the switch in the dash! it was a very simple fix the part was about $12.00 at autozone and it took about 15 min to fix.
Check the gauges fuse ... may be a short, bad wire or a bad ground. Doesn't happen open but your cluster may be bad as well. NELSON
They stopped in North Dakota,Montana,Washington.
i have the same problem on my 95 Dakota i had to undo the window regulator and move the glass forward to get access to the rod that connects the latch to the door handle it fell off i am still working on it but that's a start for you
