2005 f150 your anti-lock brakes activate too soon and with little effort There's a part on the spindle that looks like a gear and has broken teeth Can someone explain what's wrong and what to replace?

That sounds like a tone ring. That is what the sensor reads off of. If it has broken teeth it will need replaced.
