No, they're different. The '97 is a Mazda BP & later models use KIA T8 motors. The heads are not interchangeable.

If it is anything like the 97 it will be inside a rectangle shaped box near the batter on the right side of the engine. You should see a hose or tube coming from the main engine to the box. Cant miss it really.
