At the moment of the Big Bang, the Universe was billions of kelvins in temperature and extremely dense. The Big Bang occurred about 13,7 billion years ago. Evidence for the Big Bang includes the red-shift of receding galaxies and the microwave background radiation, radiation that has been stretched to microwave-length across the infinities of space-time from the Big Bang to the present.
