After the OS gets loaded if the led in the monitor starts blinking what may be the problem?

[Edit]

Answer

If you don't get a picture, chances are the DIsplay settings are incompatible with the monitor. BOot into safe mode by pressing F8 during the Windows load. THen view the settings. Could be the monitor refresh rate is set too high or that the resolution is too high. Start with 800 x 600 at 65 Hz and that shoudl let you boot. Then when you get up into Windows you can change it up little by little to find the maximum you can use.
