Such codes are generated by the universal remote manufacturer rather than the TV manufacturer. As such, the actual codes will differ from one remote to another. Regretfully, Olevia TV's (for the most part) use proprietary infrared frequencies. This means that the code for another TV brand will not work with Olevia TV's. If you are looking for a universal remote, Olevia made a learning remote (model RC-LRN). Amergence Technology Inc. sells them for 39.99. They can be reached at 866-965-3842.
To set your Coby TV up with Comcost using a Digital Adapter Remote the code will be 12017.Ê If you are using a different remote with Comcast you can also try 11265.Ê If you are still having troubles call Comcast directly.
I've read elsewhere that Logitech Harmony universal remotes will work using RCA codes, they suggested L32HD31 as your TV to get it to control the TCL tv and comcast. I have used 10047 and 11781 as the remote code for a TCL LCD TV on my Comcast digital adapter remote. They are each RCACodes, that work perfectly on TCL , as RCA is owned by TCL.
I just bought Curtis ledvd1975A TV/DVD combo. I have tried every RCA, SONY, Sylvania code as suggested by other message boards in the Comcast site. I have the Xfinity remote. Any ideas for other codes to use?
It appears the TCL 55" uses RCA codes. Give RCA codes a try because they worked for me -- in my case, code 333 worked for my Avex R6 (URC-RC) Universal remote control. Maybe the other TCL TVs use the same RCA codes.
Symphonic DVD player WF-104 code for RCA universal remote model RCR311S is 30675. If this one doesn't work for you, then you just need to download the official Owner Manual for your particular remote. The RCR311S owner manual was in pdf online! Best Wishes-this can be a very frustrating problem!
Every remote manufacturer has a different set of codes numbers for other manufacturers. What remote are you using?
See the link below to download the PDF with instructions and codes. Be careful! Many remotes look similar. For me what worked was "0000" -- my remote accepts 4-digit codes, not 5-digit codes.
YOu must program it as a Toshiba DVD using the AUX button on remote control and the codes 0695 (which worked for me) or 0503, or 1045.Then seperately set up the volume by changing the volume control lock according to directions. FYI... Comcast could not help at all!______________________________________________________That was a helpful answer, thanks.Additionally, based on my own experience a couple of minutes ago, I was able to program the Comcast remote for the Toshiba TV/DVD combo (Tosh model MD19N1, fyi) by using the AUX button & treating the TV/DVD combo as a DVD, as the answer above suggested. But the code that worked for me was the Toshiba DVD code listed in the Comcast remote pamphlet (specifically, code #20695), rather than the codes stated above. But the answer, above, to use the AUX button & treat the TV/DVD combo as a DVD is what set me on the road to being able to program the remote. Also, the answer suggested above about programming the volume for the remote, by just following the Comcast remote instructions for "unlocking" the volume was exactly right. Also, fyi, none of this programming of the Comcast remote messed up TV/DVD operation by the original remote I have for the TV/DVD. I just didn't want to have to be juggling two remotes all the time. Thanks alot for that answer above. (11/5/10)
You can find Philip universal remote codes either on the Philips site or the site for the universal remote. Also some cable/satalite providers carry remote codes for the different devices.
The codes we have on file to program our DISH Network remote with your Olevia TV that you can try are 506 or 127. You can also give this a try: Hold the "TV" button at the top for abt 3 sec. long enough so all 4 top buttons begin flashing, then, hit the large red power button at the top center of the remote. then begin scrolling up on the directional channel keys (the buttons surrounding the "select" button) eventually the remote will turn your TV on. if you scroll past the code, just scroll down using the "down" channel directional key. when it powers down, hit # in the lower right corner. your remote should now be programmed to control your TV.
If you are a DirecTV or Cox subscriber, you may sync a universal remote to your television using code 1548 or 11548. Use the sylvania codes. That worked for my motorola remote.
