Nickel silver is a copper alloy...60% copper, 20% nickel, and 20% zinc. The name comes from its color and appearance. So....it is worth more as scrap metal than as a "precious metal". Sorry!
It very much depends on the condition of the coin. A low grade coin is 25 to 50 cents, medium grade coins are $3.00-$12.00, better grade coins can be $20.00 or more. Take it to a dealer or collector...
