"Finished product is not tested on animals" means that they did not test their FINISHED product on animals. However, Bath and Body Works obtains most of their products or product ingredients from third-party companies (that is, companies that are not owned or operated by Bath and Body Works). Bath and Body Works has NOT received statements from these companies that they do not test the product ingredients on animals. This is why they use the term "finished product" - it's a way to make the reader think that they are really saying their products do not involve animal testing at all. If you want to be certain that animals were not involved in the product's making, look for products that have the little bunny that means CRUELTY FREE. These products are certified as not having had their ingredients or finished products tested on animals and that none of their ingredients are derived from animals. Beware of sellers that use the caption "Cruelty Free" and state their ingredients are not derived from animals -- that does NOT mean that they did not test on animals; it only means that they did not take something from the animal (oils, etc.) and use it as an ingredient.

The chemicals used in the product are probably tested on animals in cases like this. Basically what a company is saying if they say the FINISHED product is not tested on animals it means that somewhere along the line something in the product was tested on animals, but the actual stuff you're getting in the bottle was not. Either way I wouldn't buy it, but that's just me because I boycott companies that do any kind of animal testing :) hope that helped!
Alberto Balsam does not test on animals as their products are made from plants. If you read the back of the shampoo bottle it tells you what the ingredients that was used in it's product. They make the ingredients from plants or herbs.Hope I helped you. :)
Aussie Hair products are available in various products. Mousse, hairspray, gel, and other hair care products. Their bottles are purple in color and can be easily distinguished.
Goldwell hair products are surprisingly very affordable compared to other salon brands. The average price is $15.00 for a bottle of shampoo. Biolage, a salon product, usually runs about $24.00 a bottle.
If a product is FDA approved, it will typically indicate so on the bottle somewhere. Each product is different, and most FDA approved items are not over-the-counter items.
Wow. There is a lot!!! L'oreal products used to use animals for testing. And many lip balms and glosses do to. wow... there is a lot... In stead of me listing let's just say this, check the bottle, box, container, whatever for a sentence or sign that says tested on animals. If the company has tested it on animals they must out it on the product. Sometimes least popular brands, that some people wouldn't even have heard of are the safest. I prefer organic products myself. Just be super careful with deodorants, shampoos, lip balms and glosses, and other cosmetic items.
The 'Pee Pee Bottle' is designed to help toddlers urinate on-the-go, when there is not a clean bathroom available. Parents can bring the portable 'pee-pee bottle' with them and when the child has finished urinating, the bottle can be sealed and then cleaned out at a more convenient time. The pee-pee bottle works for both boys and girls.
