No, they are not. So many people change their attitude towards Muslims because of the media, but if they really saw things clearly, then they wouldn't think negatively. The media exaggerates bits of information and jumbles things up, especially video clips and pictures. You may see it and listen to what the reporters say but then when you get the actual story it's completely different. Thus the Muslims are not treated fairly by the media.

Ironically Muslims are treated better in the press in developed countries with anti-discrimination laws such as the United Kingdom, Germany, France and so on, while less fairly in the media of the Middle Eastern continents where they originate.
