While turtles are USUALLY slow when they walk on land, they are pretty quick and accelerated when they are swimming in the water.

my exoieriences:

believe me. once, my family and i were at the lake and we rented a Malibu boat. i was watching my brothers fish off the edge of the dock and i see this turtle (about the size of a Basketball) and a really tiny turtle and we were trying to catch them but we couldn't because they were so fast

The slowest animal in the world is the three toed sloth. its three toes makes it slow and hard to walk. the sloth is slower than the snail! can youbelieve that. the snail, i guesss the third slowest.
