If the owner treats the dog aggresively or plays with the dog aggressively then the dog is more likely to become aggressive as they think its the right way to behave.
The boxer as a breed is a bright energetic playful breed and are normally good with children. They are not a vicious breed but if provoked then it will react the way it thinks it should whether its barking chasing or biting. Like all dogs, they need socialization.

∙ 12y agoIt depends. If you play with it a lot, it might not be. But, if you keep it chained or fenced up , it will be aggresive.
The Dog will not be aggressive if you show it love and don't beat or abuse it.
Well, I have a boxer and she is down to earth but she's an amazing fighter. She is very goofy and fun to be around, but she can snap a bone if it means to protect a loved one.
