The answer is NO.
Not unless you are ready to deal with an adult python that:
If your okay with all of those, great.
If not - DON'T GET A BURMESE!
I have been keeping large snakes for almost a decade and they are great pets if you are ready, prepared and knowledable. If not, they can be deadly in the wrong hands.
Only if you have the proper accomidations for it. Many ppl end up with the goliaths not know how bigg the get
If you have an extra $5,000, you can buy a super dwarf reticulated python, which only gets 6-8 ft.
Pythons are not venomous. That includes the reticulated python. With that said, the bite of the python won't feel good and, like any puncture wound, can introduce hazardous biological materials into whatever (or whoever) gets bitten. The python will generally latch onto whatever it is trying to eat and the teeth will keep what they are trying to consume from getting away while it is gradually constricted. Once the animal is dead, the teeth help move the animal down into the snake. They curve backwards a bit so that they can pull the meal further into the snake.
Well' it totally depends. A reticulated python is around 15 feet long and can easly kill humans and deer. Ball pythons are very good pets and are very nice but not strong only 5 feet long
Everybody knows that keeping a snake like a cobra is a pain in the butt but there are snakes that are are not poisonous that are bad pets too. Ball pythons that are not captive bred are full of parasites, flying snakes need a big enclosure, African rock snakes are painful too, and boa constrictors and reticulated pythons are very not good pets to keep.
The heaviest snake is the anaconda while the longest snake is the reticulated python. Both generally have bad temperaments and not recommended as pets.
Some humans do yes, but this is not a good idea.
Children's Python and Eastern small Blotched Pythons are both great pets and are small.
A Ball Python will not eat another snake. Ball pythons are nice and docile. They make good pets too!
It depends on what you think is fun. You cannot take a snake out and "play" with it, they are not like that. You can hold them, but not more than once or twice a day or they will get stressed. Some species cannot be handled for more than a few minutes every few weeks. If you want a fun pet get a dog or a cat.
They both make good pets, they're both snakes, they're both constrictors, they're both predaters, they're both non venomous.
Pythons got into Florida because people had kept pythons as exotic pets, but as they grew bigger, people realized that they didn't want their pythons anymore because they got too big to live in their house, so the people in Florida who had pythons released them into the wild. Because there were numerous people who had pythons as exotic pets, and then released them in the Everglades into the wild, there were eventually enough pythons that they could successfully reproduce and live in the Florida Everglades.
yes ghost ants make really good pets
