No ferrets are not blind. When a baby ferret (also known as a kit) is born, it has a thin layer over it's eyes meaning that it cannot see. This layer eventually goes away and the kit will begin opening its eyes by the age of 5 weeks old and will be able to see.
Though they are not colorblind ferrets see colors differently to us. Ferrets see the world in grey but can also make out certain shades of red and blue.
no they are not blind. most ferrets have relatively good eye sight. i own 3 and all can see quite well.
an albino animal (or human) lacks pigment in their hair skin and eyes due to a defect of an enzyme involved in the production of melanin.
one of the main effects on their eyesight is that their iris lacks the pigment which helps to reduce the amount of light entering the eye and hitting the retina. as they do not have the pigment the iris doesn't fully block light and may cause them to have increased glare in their eyes due to light scattering within the eye itself, often refer to as photophobia.
hope this helps.
btw ferrets make really good pet and if your worried about your albino ferret having reduced eyesight because of the glare in his eyes you could still get a white one with dark eyes (DEW- dark eyed white) i have one and she is very sweet
Albino ferrets see the same as all other ferrets. They can see red and most colors are shades of gray to them. Ferrets have very poor eyesight and mainly rely on their sense of smell.
Ferrets can see better at night, that why their eyes are dark.
They will bump into things while running and they are also much more easily startled. They may become scared if you pick them up.
yes. all animals can go blind.

They are not as common as brown. Also, Ferrets with a whit head may be blind.
Their sense of smell.. Ferret do not see particularly well, and often hunt underground where it's dark. Many ferrets have actually become blind without their owners realizing it until they moved some furniture and saw the ferret running right into it. Having a blind ferret should be fine, since they use their sense of smell, whiskers and hearing so much
