I own both a male and a female Guinea Pig. I wouldn't say one gender is better than the other. Though if you do not fix the male, he may produce some smell when he gets older but that 100% disappears when you take it to the vet to get him fixed. =) It depends more on the personality than the gender, ya know? Each Piggie is diffrent. Hope this helped!
