I dont have an answer but I am 2 weeks late and my nipples hurt really bad. I took a test and it was negative but my nipples have never been this soar and I am having headaches and some lower back pain.

That is so funny that I found this I just did a google search for hard nipples and pregnancy...my period is only like three days late but my nipples have been really hard for about a week now. During the day I have been feeling fine but at bedtime and when I wake up I have been feeling sick. I am going to wait to take a test for a few more days just in case.

Hard nipples on their own are not a sign of pregnancy but if you are pregnant you may well get hard nipples.

my period is like 2 days late and my nipples are killing me esp. when im cold..they hurt...but dont itch...but this often happens before i start my period ..usually all your boobs hurt when your pregnant..but each girl is different...ouch they hurt!..hopefully just a sign of my period!:) as i said that is what it usually means for me..but who knows..remember wait two weeks after your missed period before you can be sure of a preganacy test

Well, I'm five weeks pregnant, and hard nipples were my first sign. Really the only way to tell if you're pregnant is to take a test. You DON'T have to wait 14 days after your missed period to take a test, some tests can tell you up to 5 days BEFORE your missed period, and many can detect pregnancy 5 days after your missed period.
