Yes, because they raise our health care costs being uninsured. They get free medical and dental that we Americans have to pay for. They take jobs away from Americans. They live virtually tax free except for sales tax on what they buy because they don't claim taxes like we do. Their baby's are born here illegally then become citizens because they were born on American soil and continue to get medical and dental for free. They don't mind coming here illegally but they don't pay like the rest of us and then to boot they send back American made dollars back to their country for the rest of the family to come here illegally too. If they paid the same as we do then I wouldn't have a problem with it but they don't.

I must say that I agree. An overwhelming percentage of our products both consumable and non-consumable come from other countries. This country's function is solely based on the lives of immigrants from around the world. Everyone has a chance to improve their lives. Be honest with yourself and take a good look at your background; the original immigrants were the pilgrims and look at the horrors committed against mankind. If you truly are against illegal Immigration, then I would suggest that you dispose of all your possessions and food so that your point be made loud and clear. Only the illegal immigrants that do not contribute to the well being of this country should be imprisoned. I haven't heard anyone complain about how the illegal immigrants should not join the military to fight the war. I haven't heard anyone protest about how the U.S. goes to other countries looking for support.

It's very funny how now illegal immigration is a BIG problem when back then it wasn't at all a big deal, seeing as they did the jobs American Citizens didn't want to do. Just because Illegal immigrants are smart enough to take any job they need to make some money doesn't mean they're hurting out country, it just means they are willing to work hard not like some lazy Americans. Now do yourself a favor, go through your family history and see where (not only you but) where your family came from, really go back and see where there truly came from, and you will find out the surprising, at least ONE member of your family must have been an illegal immigrant.

you cannot compare this to back to the begging of the 1900s because it is a completely different situation; for one the majority of immigrants that came to the U.S. became citizens when they got here, they also had a great respect for this country because it gave them a new start so they wanted to learn our language, do their best to follow our laws, and truly become "American". It is only half true that they did the jobs we didn't want to do because these were new jobs that needed to be filled, also at that time most American were farmers and already had jobs but some of these farmers did move to the city for the jobs "we" didn't want, this was called the Urbanization Movement, so technically not just immigrants took these new jobs. Now we have illegal immigrants coming to this country, they do not become citizens mostly because it cost so much, but unlike the immigrants of the 1900s. These people do not respect us for what we provide them, they use or services such as healthcare, 911, schools, roads, and federal aid all with the taxes that we pay and they don't, most refuse to learn our language or follow our rules. They do take jobs that most Americans would not take, but how do we know that? There and millions of AMERICANS out there who would love to have a job but those jobs are not there because immigrants are in their spot.

I am an American woman married to an Mexican man and he pays to go to the doctor, pays taxes just like everybody else. your an idiot if you think just because they are Mexican they get off for free! In fact its harder for Mexicans to get jobs, just because of their color! just because your lazy and on welfare means they stole your job? most immigrants work they're butts off, while the majority of Americans are sitting at home watching t.v. on welfare! what, just because theyre immigrants they're not aloud to use 911? their kids are not aloud to got to school? or use our roadways? that's stupid!!!
