Kidney stones pass through the ureter (tube from the kidney to the bladder) which is the same diameter and length in men as in women.

The stone then has to pass from the bladder through the urethra. This can be harder for a man because, though they are the same diameter, a man's urethra is about 8 inches long (average) whereas a woman's is 2 inches. So it takes longer for the stone to travel out of the body for a man.

Yes, I've never had mine yet. My mom had hers from drinking too much soda. My ex is crazy about dr pepper. I've heard that sometimes men's hurt more than a woman's. Cause the stone has to come out when you pee. Imagine how it has to slide through his penis and come out. It cuts him up inside. And it does the same for a girl. But the girls is only for a split second cause it's falling right out of the hole. So yes. They feel very differently. And while it's happening the guys hurt more cause guys dont get periods. They cramp up bad.
