It depends how you look at it. Certain types of bacteria are used in a good way, to make yogurt and other dairy products and are part of the sewage treatment process. They are also used to make medicine and are part of biotechnology. Unfortunately, they can also cause infections and deadly illnesses like anthrax, cholera and tuberculosis.
