My fianc'e was adopted and when we get married we both decided to have our birth child and than go and adopt a child in need. I am so happy that he was even willing to try to adopt a child because he knew that when he was first adopted he was hard to deal with. Risk taking on his part is a big deal. He doesn't go for the "well, I don't think it's safe to do" sh*t. He goes for the, "What the hell, lets take a wing at it." He is such a good person. If you are a child looking for someone to adopt or is someone that has been adopted and wondering what you will do when you get older I can't tell you. Because that's your choice. But you can either be that great person who will always be there for the child needing someone to love it or you can be that complete jerk who is always stuborn and not even want to. I mean these children are live breathing people. I mean they will grow up and they will be wondering where was my family my whole life. What were they doing as I sat in my foster home waiting for them staring out my bedroom window at night. Or yeah, sure my foster fmaily was there on Christmas but where were you. When you go see a child to choose the one you want and they see you and you leave them sitting there and you never return they are helpless. What if that child gets adopted by a family that can't even support what they have. Remember though if you are a child looking for someone to adopt them I am planning in adopting when I get marrieed so you still have a chance. Your chaces will never run low. There are great people out there for you that can hold your hands through all the hard times and pat you on the back during the good times. i wish you luck. Lexi Cameron

Depends on how old the child is when adopted. If adopting a baby the ones raising the child will have biggest influence but with an older child it depends how old they are. The older = less influence.
