Are professional lawn company fertilizers poisonous to ducks and chickens? |
[Edit] |
They could be, depends on what was used.
It's better to be safe than sorry.Don't let them on the lawn for a week after it has been sprayed. Better yet, let the hens fertilize your lawn. They do a good job weeding and fertilizing at the same time. They won't eat the grass when weeds are available and they control ants, slugs and any other pest that might wander into the grass.
