Are saltwater pools safe for people who have high blood pressure?

Answer

ASK YOUR DOCTOR!

Answer

yes. there are no concerns with salt water pools. my advice would be to cut back on salt in your diet (obviously) and exercise as often as possible (even if it is sex.. i'm serious!!!!). if you've been avoiding swimming because of the salt water... make up for the time you've lost. :)

studies have shown alternative techniques, eg meditation, yoga etc will help with your high BP and i would advise looking into them if you dislike the idea of going on drugs (diuretics, ace inhibitors etc) or have adverse side affects
