Are saturated fats considered good fats or bad fats?

Answer:
Saturated Fat has been put down over the last fifty years or so. Nutritionists, dietitians, and doctors across the country have advised their clients to avoid saturated fat, which they say is linked to heart disease. Unfortunately, all of these assumptions have been made based on a study published in the mid fifties. This study surveyed twenty-two countries on the saturated fat intake and rate of death from heart disease. The study's authors cut the twenty-two countries down to six, a list that included the United States. Among these six countries, the men that ate more saturated fat had increased levels of heart disease. While this evidence seemed logical, the study purposely left out countries that did not fit the trend. For example, Mexico and Finland had similar levels of saturated fat consumption but men in Finland had a much higher rate of death from heart disease.
