The "Made for BOX STORE JOHN DEERe" is not the same one your Pappy plowed the fields with. It is made to compete with the Craftsman. Period. It uses the same engines and transaxles as its competitors, BUT IS NOT MADE IN THE SAME FACTORY. Anybody that says otherwise is WRONG.
Buy the Craftsman, keep the extra cash.
