A Plymouth man turned himself in after hitting a man with a baton an unknown number of times , the victim was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center.
A security guard at the hospital noticed a man, in the patient waiting area with the baton in his belt. (not concealed)
He was charged with felony aggravated assault and was taken to Penobscot County Jail. He was released on bail later that day, a jail official said.
Prior convictions in 2008 after stabbing a man with a knife. For that crime, he was sentenced for, carrying a concealed weapon, violating condition of release, assault and terrorizing.
So carrying a knife bad, carrying a baton only bad if you use it on a mans head, for no good reason. This happened in May '09.
