Can stainless steel baking pans be safely washed in a dishwasher or it is better to wash by hand?

Stainless steel baking pans can indeed be safely washed in a dishwasher, however a lot of people prefer to wash these by hand because sometimes either the water used locally is hard water or many people just prefer handling the dishwashing of the pans manually. There is nothing wrong with using the dishwasher, it is simply personal preference.

How do you prepare a kitchen cleaning schedule?

Either with pen and paper or on a computer, create a weekly calendar. Each day should have daily chores such as cleaning dishes, counter tops, back splashes, stove tops and floors. For commercial kitchens there are 3 times per week chores of going through the refrigerator walk in and clearing out old food and wiping down shelving and cleaning around stove burner drip pans and tops of appliances. Then there are twice weekly chores of cleaning ovens and dish storage shelving and pantry storage items and shelves.

What is more energy efficient a dishwasher or a sink?

The dishwasher is more efficient, undoubtedly. Washing anything by hand, unless absolutely necessary, is a waste of time, water & energy. I recommend putting just about anything in the dishwasher: plates pots pans dishes, without rinsing. Try it out, let the dishwasher show you what it can do. Pots & pans will dull, but won't otherwise change. Teflon pans will wear, you have to decide if you want the ease of the dishwasher and replace them as needed. Don't put in cast iron pans, nor Great Aunt Agatha's China unless you are sure about it. If the dishwasher is not full, most dishwashers have a rinse-only option, run that rinse-only if you don't plan to run a full cycle in the dishwasher until the next day. Washing in the sink before you run a cycle adds the problem that dishwasher-soap usage is based on dirty dishes, not clean, you could be over sudsing. If you can, run the hot water faucet before starting the dishwasher, so that the dishwasher has to expend less electrical energy to heat the water to the correct temperature for the cycle.

In-Sink-Erator can a dishwasher be used at the same time as a insinkerator?

Yes, I do it all the time! I use my dishwasher to clean the dishes and large pots and pans get washed in the sink at the same time. All the crud from the pots and pans then gets sent down the drain through my In-Sink-Erator disposer.
