The Army has more manpower and a majority of the heavy equipment (tanks, APCs, etc.), while the Marines are primarily a light infantry force, but have the advantage of being more mobile and overall easier to deploy then the majority of the Army.DUH!
It's a matter of opinion and depends on who you ask.
If you ask a marine they will say the Marines.
If you ask a soldier they will say the Army.
If you ask a sailor they will say the Navy.
If you ask an airman they will say the Air Force.
I love them all because they protect me and my constitution while I work, love, laugh and play without worry because they all bravely stand and fight for my right to do so.
Both are trained for the type of job it is to perform. It varies.
marines
Individual Marines, or the Corps as a whole? The Marine Corps is extremely stingy with its medals. Things that in the Army will get you an Army Commendation Medal won't get you any medals at all in the Marines. The Marines also don't have a lot of the service ribbons the Army has.
yes, the entire u.s. military is stronger than the Russian military
The Marines are Marines. The Army has Army Special Forces AKA Green Berets.
Yes... and the Air Force, and in the Marines, as well.
It's harder to join the Marines. They have much higher standards than the Army.
Nope. For sure. :)
Army by far. Marines are real men.
The main points of differentiation between the Marines and Army are their primary mission, size, training, and culture. The Marines are a smaller branch focused on amphibious operations and known for their rapid response capabilities. The Army is a larger branch responsible for land-based warfare and has a more diverse range of missions. The Marines undergo a more intense and specialized training regimen, while the Army has a broader range of career options. Culturally, the Marines often have a stronger sense of tradition, camaraderie, and pride.
The US Army is currently the only globally recognized superpower, so they are unquestionably "stronger" than the army of India.
The Royal Marines are part of the Royal Navy and nothing to do with the Army.
Always. And the Army often come in to help the Marines.
Inter-service cooperation exists between all branches, although the Marines do traditionally have a much closer relationship with the Navy than the Army does.
