Are the finishing moves in wrestling real or fake?

Answer

The majority of wrestling finishers are very very real. However some moves such as the Tombstone Piledriver doesn't cause much pain as the head (usually) does not actually touch the ground or matt. There are 3 moves that can only be used with the permission of Vince which are the Shooting Star Press, the 450 Splash and the Piledriver, not the tombstone as only a piledriven head hits the matt when a tombstones doesnt.

Answer

yes they are because it gots to hurt on the mat if they try to act it or not

Answer

Yes they are real. Benoit's crossface really hurts and so does the Rock Bottom.

Answer

almost all finishers are real. the only ones that are fake are the atomic legdrop (hogan), the worm (scotty), and the peoples elbow (the rock) all other finishers are real and for normal people they would hurt like hell.

Answer

Undertaker's Tombstone piledriver is faked. If you get a chance to see the vid clip of Taker 'sacraficing' Rene Dupree's head onto the steel stairs a week or two before WM21, you can watch carefully and see his head never actually makes contact.

Answer

the does not intend to smash the head but to slam all your weight to your shoulders

Answer

the person who said dupree's head doesn't hit is totally correct

Answer

Everyone thinks that Pro wrestling is fake.... Yes the people who win are scripted and stuff like that, but all of the moves hurt.. , going through a table feels like being in a car crash. If you get hit with a powerbomb the wind gets knocked out of you no matter how "softly" your opponent hits you with it.

Answer

some of the finishing moves are fake. but the ankle lock is REAL. my mate went for a exclusive trainin session and he experienced the ankle lock LIGHTLY and he said it hurts like hell!

Answer

If you watch close enough, any finisher that involes the head, is faked. Watch the pile drivers. the head of the oppont is protected.

Answer

Some are fake, some are not. the tombstone and the pedigree are aimed for the head but if you watch closely the head doesn't even touch the ground. moves such as ankle lock, lionsault and sweet chin music really hurt though.

Answer

Also all the submission moves hurt like hell. Especially the figure four!!

Answer

Some moves, like the Burning Hammer and the Ganso Bomb are real. Moves like these are extremely deadly because the opponent has a bit of a problem absorbing the fall.

Answer

Some real some fake. For example Powerbombs=real chokeslams=real Piledrivers=Fake because if you watch the undertaker do a piledriver the head of the opponent it makes little or no contact at all. This is because his knees take most of the impact. If the undertaker did this move proprebaly he might break the oppenents neck!Submission moves are the most painful. I've been in the figure of 4.One word AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...!!!!!!!!
