Fancy having a part in the next Harry Potter film? Well if you're a boy or a girl aged 15-18 or know someone who is now's your chance. The producers of Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince are holding open auditions for the role of Lavender Brown this Sunday 1 July at Earls Court One and the part of Tom Riddle the following Sunday 8 July.
No experience is necessary but you must be in that age range and also be a citizen of the UK or Ireland. The queue will open at 8am and applications will be taken from 10am with the queue for them being closed at 1pm on both audition days.
Applicants need to bring a copy of their passport as proof of age and nationality, will be asked to fill in an application form, have a photo taken and then be seen briefly by the casting team. Sucessful applicants will be contacted directly. I don't know how big the parts are but it sounds like an oppurtunity if you're trying to get into acting.
