The Pennfoster program is for Physical Therapy Aides NOT Physical therapist assistants. PT aides usually are trained on the job according to the needs of each department. There is absolutely no advantage to a formal educational program for that job classification.

Actually! yes there is go to www.Pennfoster.com and they have an online class that u can take at your Pace and be an PTA (physical therapist assistant) If you don't have all the time in the world then pennfoster is your best bet folks!
However, Penn Foster is not accrediated by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education Education (CAPTE) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), so good luck in getting a job! If you do not graduate from a CAPTE accredited program you will not be eligible to sit for the licensure exam (if your state has one) or be eligible to practice (if your state has certification or registration). Therefore, you will essentially be an aide.
