I am taking IV iron infusions right now. This is going to be my third week. Every week since taking the iron through the IV, I have had flu like symptoms. I get extremely pale, sweaty, achy and feel as if I am about to pass out. However; for some strange reason, this is not considered an allergic reaction. So... I am currently online looking to see if these are normal side effects of the procedure and ran across this question. Just thought I would share my personal encounters with the procedure after-math. Thanks!
