Are there any states where a citizen and an illegal immigrant can get married?

This question is to the American citizens who have married an illegal immigrant. Do you file for taxes as a married person or single person? Because I'm wondering if you apply as a married person, then they will want your spouses details and all right?

Don't you guys worry that after you mark down your address on the paperwork for the marriage license that someone (immigration etc...) will track you down or am I being paranoid?


When you go to get your marriage license and you have a passport from another country do they look through it for a visa etc? Or, do they just use it to identify the person?

Are any of the American citizens in here in the military? My American citizen boyfriend and I are unsure how that would all work regarding a military spouse i.d. (I have been here for four years, I'm from the U.K)
