You don't. You either connect the PS3 to your HDTV with HDMI and the Comcast box to your HDTV with HDMI cables like I used to have or you connect the PS3 and Comcast Box with HDMI cables like I did to my home theater and then connect the home theater to the HDTV with a HDMI cable. My Comcast box is HD and I have a Sony HDTV and Sony Home Theater equipped with a HDMI repeater. If you are talking about connection for the internet it is not done with a HDMI cable, but an ethernet cable
The following procedure may vary, depending on if you have Dish Network or DirecTv. Connect one or two tuners to the "satallite in" on your DVR. Two is necessary in order to record two shows at once. Then, if you are working with standard definition, connect a yellow composite cable as well as two RCA audio cables to the TV and DVR. If you are working with High Definition, connect a set of component cables (blue, green, red) as well as two RCA audio cables to the DVR and TV. Also, you can connect an HDMI cable to the TV and DVR, which allows for HD video and audio to your tv with one cable. For more info on these cables and what they do, go into your local electronics store. Hope this helps and good luck!

A coaxial cable has great uses in television antenna connections. TV satellite connections also use coaxial cables to connect decoders to the TV set.
If the VCR and/or DVD don't have the same type of connector that your tv set does, you can buy adapters that will convert from cable to two-prong in order to connect to your tv set. Connect from the OUT connector on the back of the DVD or VCR to the back of the tv where you normally connect the antenna. The antenna is not necessary when viewing the DVD or VCR.
