Are there many pharmacy jobs available in todays economy if you do not have a degree in that field of study?

Answer:
If you wish to be a pharmacist you need a degree but other jobs within a pharmacy may not require any qualifications. Like any other retailer, pharmacists are selling a lot of products that call for good sales skills and relationship building skills rather than medical knowledge. If you have a pleasant manner and get on well with people you could get a job in a pharmacy and then train in house to take on more involved roles. You would not be allowed to handle prescription medicines without the proper qualifications.
