There are very few conservative vegetarians. Conservatives tend to value their freedom very highly, and as most people enjoy meat, conservatives think of vegetarianism as handing over your freedom to eat what you like. Often they view all the instances of meat-eating in The Bible as acarte blanche to eat any meat today. Liberals think more about the effects of their diet choices, and when you think of all the various horrors of industrial meat farming, it makes sense to stop supporting it. Liberals can also tend to think of animals being on an equal plane with humans, while conservatives, being steeped in biblical thinking, recall with relish God's command to take dominion over the earth and rule over it. God, in fact, created animals to be Adam's companions (pets, basically) and then later said they were all right to eat. He never said anything about stuffing animals in crates and cruelly squeezing from them every drop of profit available, but I've found that the conservatives I know (I grew up immersed in them) just don't care.
You are kidding me, aren't you? I am very conservative and a vegan. Conservatives absolutely do care about the care and treatment of animals. If you go to our local shelter, most of the donations are from, you guessed it, Conservatives. Personally, I think that it is a matter of respect, whether for animals or people.... Whether Liberal or Conservative. Your statement has no basis in fact or statistics. Most of us "grew up" eating meat. That is the way it was. Things have changed over the years. Knowledge is power. I taught in a low income, very liberal school district. There were no vegans there and they made fun of me. By the end of the term, the children were more accepting of my views and I certainly understood theirs. It is controversial, but he leans more liberal than conservative.
Much more conservative
They are fairly liberal. What I mean is that they are more left-leaning than some other countries (like the United States), but they still have both conservative and liberal political views (but typically the people who are more conservative in Argentina are still more liberal than conservative in the U.S.)
Much more conservative
He is Liberal
Conservative
Being liberal or conservative does not define where one worships, although some religious institutions are more liberal, or conservative, than others. In any one religious institution you will generally find a mix of liberal and conservative views.
If you mean in the United States, the conservative is pro-small government, the liberal is for more government intervention.
Conservative. Though the dominant party is named the liberal-democrats, they are the right-wing majority party of Japan
liberal, moderate, conservative
yes he is liberal not conservative
Conservative. It is more conservative than liberal but is nowhere near as conservative as the U.S.A. Irish people are very centrist and reject very left-wing or right-wing politics.
