No violent video games aren't bad for children. People always say that violent video games make children violent as well. The truth is that the violence does not come from the video game it comes from people that children see doing stuff. Video games can make kids think differently but that is still due to people that the children "hang out" with.
A kid can play a completely good video game and still become violent or act in violent ways because of their enviroment.
