Are you allowed to copy and paste text and pictures directly from websites?

In: Windows
Not in most cases. Web sites and their contents are copyrighted materials. Unless they are marked as being in the public domain or you have permission, you should not copy and paste from websites. If you do it in a paper, you are plagerising and that can get you in serious trouble at school.
