Are you allowed to use Pulp Fiction as a title of a literary magazine?

Answer:
Titles cannot be subject to copy write therefore the answer is 'yes'.
HOWEVER it is frowned upon as you are exploiting someone else's fame for the promotion of your own business.

Now 'pulp fiction' would have been a good name for a magazine. It accurately describes the content of the product. BUT the recent fame of the movie has seriously marred its 'legitimate' application. Maybe in a while, after the fame of the movie has faded, and the meaning of the general term is still around, it could be reapplied.
