I don't want to scare you or anything but I had a white and yellow discharge coming from my nipples right before I started my period so I thought that it was just period related. Well, the discharge kept on coming out. But not alot. I went to the doctor and a couple months later had to have surgery to remove a tumor from my left breast. It was not cancer or anything bad. They had to remove it. Hi there, During pregnancy, Colostrum will not occur until 4-7 months into the pregnancy. Colostrum does not occur during early pregnancy hun, only during the 2nd or 3rd trimester depending upon the Woman. Because the test was negative then its unlikely you're pregnant. But to be certain I would recommend that you see your Doctor for a Quantitative beta hcg pregnancy blood test. You'll need to ask specifically for this blood test. In regard to the nipple discharge; this may occur for a variety of reasons. Breast & nipple stimulation over a period of weeks or months can result in a clear nipple discharge being released from the nipples when they are squeezed or pressure has been applied to the nipple and/or breast. A milky nipple discharge which is released spontaneously can be a indication of a hormonal imbalance, a milk duct infection and can also be the occurrance of taking Birth control pills. Drinking a lot of coffee can also cause clear or whitish nipple discharge but it's always advisable to have the nipple discharge investigated. A yellowish or greenish nipple discharge is a indication of a infection and needs to be treated by your Physcian. A rusty coloured or blood discharge is usually caused by a Papiloma.
