It is believed that the brain stops developing in the mid 20's. Although drugs (including alcohol) are believe to end the brain development earlier.

It stop qrowing at age 40 yrs.
Recently i have heard that there is new paper written by Prof. G Bartsokis ( i am not sure how to spell the name ) he reported that the brain stop growing at age of 48yrs.
I do not realy care which age stop growing . i just care about what we can do trought our life.

Alternatively, the answer to your question can also be at ~age 20 the Brain reaches its maximum weight. The Brain the proceeds to lose ~10% of its mass over your lifetime.

It has been a long-held belief in medical communities that the human brain stopped developing in adolescence. But now there is evidence that this is in fact not the case, thanks to medical research conducted in the Department of Biomedical Engineering by researcher Christian Beaulieu, an Alberta Innovates - Health Solutions scientist, and by his PhD student at the time, Catherine Lebel.
