This question is kinda hard to answer; because you have to take your height and weight into consideration, but after a lot of researching, I found a common thread. Anything less than 1,000 calories is not "adequate nutrition".

There is no exact point of "starvation", as it will vary per person because each person requires a different number of calories daily to sustain a healthy body. Generally, anything under 1,000 calories a day would be considered "starving". A person, though, isn't classified as "starving" unless they are living on that much or less and have lost quite a bit of their body weight, too.

starving yourself does not work ladies! It may make you actually gain weight in fact and not only that it just makes you stay the same! When I decided to lose weight I was like 'ok some days i'm gonna starve myself thinking it was ok because models do it and that's what i wanted to look like so then a nutritionist told me that starving yourself is truly horrible! not only will you not lose weight but your getting a ton of other health problems that comes with..
