In addition to being knowledgeable about the subjects they teach, teachers must have the ability to communicate, inspire trust and confidence, and motivate students, as well as understand the students' educational and emotional needs. Teachers must be able to recognize and respond to individual and cultural differences in students and employ different teaching methods that will result in higher student achievement. They should be organized, dependable, patient, and creative. Teachers also must be able to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with other teachers, support staff, parents, and members of the community. Private schools associated with religious institutions also desire candidates who share the values that are important to the institution.
An effective teacher is one that teaches life skills and prepares students for life. Also, effective teachers inspire students to learn, become role models for their students, leave a possitive, lifelong impression on students and finally, make students learn.
always know your student want style of teaching so, its easy to teach because that style they want. make your student always use their minds...make a recitation every meeting....to make your subject not boring you should have a "patawa" e.g jokes, humor
Efficient and effective teachers share some common characteristics that include dedication and patience. Other characteristics are having a positive attitude and being able to manage the classroom.
I believe that an effective teacher should be able to get respect (rather than incite fear) from his students. Effective teachers should also be able to affect you as a person and your life outside of school. For example, two teachers whom I have been really fond of are Mr. Mukherjee (Math teacher) and Mr. Moore (Chinese Fiction and Film teacher). Before stepping into Mr. Mukherjee's pre-calculus class, I thought math will be the death of me. Nevertheless, he never gave up on me even after I gave up on myself. Afterward, I was constantly going to him for extra tutoring. My previous math teachers would comfort me by saying that math is not for everyone. However, even through their comfort, I have always felt hopeless. Mr. Moore's class allowed me to form a club at another high school which would be modeled from his syllabus. The club currently has about 300 members with 4 different sessions. He has taught me to keep an open mind about exploring different classes which helped to enrich the academic experience.
I think an effective teacher is the one who is capable of identifying the uniqueness in each child and devise personalized learning methodologies to help students achieve their potential.
For me i wil say that a good teacher is a person who is ready to sacrifise his or her time, 4 his student.also ready to carry their problew, e t c

A Teacher is like a TV set. If the program is boring, than you will get bored. This is like a classroom presentation, if the teacher is boring and does not present the lesson well the students will become bored. Teachers are entertainers, so an effective presentation through the teacher as well as the content needs to be taken into consideration for it to be effective.
putting yourself in the teacher's shoes
you can say" Em yeu co " if your teacher is female and " Em yeu thay " if your teacher is male :)
