Bearing in mind this IS NOT me if your birthday is on 29th Feb and you've lived for 48 years though you've only had 12 birthdays can you take part in a competition for 12 year olds?

Do the rules of the competition say, "Participants must have had no more than 12 birthdays"? Or - as is more likely - does it say, "Participants must be no older than 12"?
Of course, I suppose it might say something like, "The cut off date is March 10, those who have not reached their 13th birthday are eligible."
If so, then technically, you qualify.
However, they still won't let you as no one wants to have their kids competing with an adult. And there won't be a legal remedy as it is doubtful a judge would let it go to court.
