In 1820 James Monroe ran unopposed by any other popular candidate. He won 80.6% of the vote, the most by any president ever, but if you don't consider that fair than its the 1920 election won by Warren G. Harding who won against Democrat James M. Cox by 26.2%. Harding actually died like a month after inaguaration from like food poisoning or something. Don't let people tell you it was LBJ he was only the 5th largest victory or Nixon he was only the fourth. Hope that helps.

Everything you said was correct, except for the part about Harding's death. He died two years after being inaugurated, and he died of a heart attack. You might be thinking of William Henry Harrison who died exactly one month after being sworn in. He died from a cold that turned into pneumonia.

This is actually incorrect. George Washington won 100% of the electoral college against John Adams. TWICE.

In electoral vote, George Washington twice won by a unanimous vote. In 1820, James Monroe won all but one electoral vote.
In popular vote, Franklin D. Roosevelt won 60.8% of the vote in his 1936 election against Alf Landon, and carried 46 states to win all but 8 of the electoral vote.

In second place for landslides, Ronald Reagan won 58.8% of the popular vote in 1984 and carried 49 states for all but 13 of the electoral.
