∙ 9y agoOn March 3rd, 1886, Robert Fleming Jr. invented the guitar. Yes, a black man invented the guitar! Fleming was tired of the same old sound. Obviously, Flemming's invention has stood the test of time, having been the integral part in a countless number of musical classics. Unfortunately there is very little info on him or pictures. Flemming was born 1857 in Mississippi.
