I had great difficulty removing light cluster to change brake light! I asked the Seat garage to demonstrate how to do it....
1) Remove screws.
2) Loosen cluster.
3) Line yourself up along the side of the car, facing the rear.
4) Give it a short hard whack with the palm of your hand to push light out towards the rear.
The rest is pretty easy...
5) Take off seal.
6) Unscrew bulb holder.
7) Remove/replace bulb.
The reason it is so stiff is that there are two springy triangle metal clips holding it in place. When putting it back in they sping open again holding it in place.
